Pembroke Pines City Center is not only a shopping center and place to wine, dine and find fun, it is a complete living and experience hub with 325,000-square-feet of commercial space and hundreds of apartment units. So, not only will it be a place to shop, eat and unwind, but also a place to live.
The announcement of the Pembroke Pines City Center, located off Pines Boulevard and Palm Avenue, was met with positive feedback and Pembroke Pines, which has been actively developing, should experience a hike in both residency as well as an economic surge.
As of April 2017, the complex was reportedly up to 70% leased, which is a great sign of both the viability and the demand of setting up shop in Pembroke Pines.
A movie theater will join Publix, Carl’s Patio, Cooper’s Hawk, BurgerFi, Smoothie King, PizzaRev, Bento Café and The Halal Guys as the initial commercial tenants and the next phase of development includes 100,000 square feet of commercial space along with 385 apartments.
Pembroke Pines celebrated the opening of the Pines Civic Center in Spring of 2017, after years of delay, and boasts 175,000-square-foot building features lots of high ceilings, wide-open areas and a 35,000-square-foot Great Hall. The Civic Center will play host to conventions, concerts, public events and graduation ceremonies.
